Dear friends, by purchasing tickets, you agree to сomply with our rules for concertgoers.
Oboe and organ are close relatives, though they differ in appearance. Among organ stops there is an oboe. That’s why the combination of these two instruments is kind of ambiguous. The oboe, depending on registration, may sound very contrasting, or it may melt completely in the organ, simulating one of its pipes.
The French music is also twofold: it reflects the Versailles’ majesty and the light charecter of Paris streets. Organ and oboe present the musical history of France from the baroque period to impressionism.
