Organist from St. Petersburg Regina Kamenshchikova is famous for her perfectly stylish concert programs. This time organ music lovers are going to enjoy pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, his contemporaries, admirers and followers. Besides the masterpieces of the great Bach, we will get acquainted with the music of an interesting German composer and organist Johann Ernst Eberlin. The program also includes works by Mozart and Brahms: both outstanding musicians had the highest opinion of Bach. Another branch of the German organ school is the music of Max Reger who officially declared that he was a follower of Bach’s.
