Концерт состоялся 24 October 2018 года
Programme: M. Mussorgsky, P. Tchaikovsky, S. Prokofiev, D. Shostakovich
This is a very curious programme: the most “picturesque” music by Russian composers translated into the language of the organ. M. Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition”, D. Shostakovich’s pieces from his music for the film “Dances of the Dolls”, S. Prokofiev’s “Visions fugitives”. And the life of a child with his games, scenes of his everyday life, his morning prayer and evening fairy tale in P. Tchaikovsky’s famous “Children’s Album”. Presented by the organ, the well-known tunes will get a new look and demonstrate new aspects of their meaning.

Who is the recital meant for?
Don’t hesitate to bring your whole family to this recital, because fairytalish music is good for all of us. Dwarfs and dolls, fairies and games — is it at all possible to grow out of the world which is so dear to everyone? Every adult will be happy to find himself in a fairy tale, and every child — to feel grown up and responsible while resolving fairytalish enigmas.
Why should we go there?
The organ is the King of musical instruments. It is called so not because of its size, but because it is capable of playing all kinds of music: it may be quiet and gentle or thunderous and smashing. Such musical pallette is exactly what we need for the “Pictures at an Exhibition”!We listened to: Kuhn Organ
