What pieces of music should we choose to form the idea of Notre-Dame de Paris? Not the hits from the homonymous musical, but the compositions of the organists who played in the famous church. The Choir of the A. G. Schnittke Moscow Institute of Music will perform one of Vierne’s masses and a mass written by another Parisian, his contemporary Charles-Marie Widor. French organ music of the same period is also included in the program of the concert.
