Дорогие друзья! Приобретая билеты, Вы соглашаетесь с правилами посещения концертов в Соборе.

The music of the Cathedrals of the world is a unique opportunity to visit a genuine European recital without leaving Moscow. And more than that, because Stefan Engels dwells and works on two continents simultaneously: in the US where he teaches organ in one of the universities and in his native Germany.
But perhaps his main musical merit is that of the world premiere recording of the complete organ works of Sigfrid Karg-Elert. The latter was interested in the traditions of various countries of Europe and was close to paying with his life for his musical tastes when the Nazi came to power. After the composer’s death they prohibited to perform his compositions along with other “non-Aryan” music. Besides Karg-Elert’s pieces, Stefan Engels will perform the music of Bach, Handel, Mendelssohn and Reger.
