The music of Haydn and Mozart is the quintessence of optimism experessed in sounds. The works of these composers fill us with joy every time we listen to them. That’s why they go so well with the idea of Easter which is the most joyful and optimistic of all feasts. A splendid soprano, an orchestra and the Cathedral’s big pipe organ present masterpieces of the great classical composers of Vienna.
