Address: 27/13 Malaya Gruzinskaya Street

Концерт состоялся 16 December 2017 года

Series: Concert for the Whole Family

When there is a little more than a week left before Christmas, everyone is hunting for original gifts and trying hard to invent an original way to celebrate the feast. But would it not be more preferable to leave out the fuss and turn to the classical tradition?

During the whole month before Christmas there is a special atmosphere in the Cathedral. The world is stuck still waiting for the great feast. Will you find a more appropriate place to feel the spirit of Christmas? The program of the concert will help to create the Christmas mood, in fact it features world famous and favourite Christmas songs: carols and noels.

One concert is almost worth a world tour, we get acquainted with musical traditions of various countries and epochs. Our guide in the tour is Ingeborga Lyubomirskaya, an expert of declamation. Our favourite songs will be presented by Children’s Choir of the Pedagogical Practice Sector of the Moscow Conservatory directed by Yulia Tikhonova. A concert of Christmas music is one of the traditional ways to celebrate Christmas!
