Martina Mailänder is an organ star of Cologne. For almost 30 years she has been organist of one of Cologne’s oldest Catholic churches, the Church of St. Pantaleon. She is also an active concert artist admired throughout Europe. According to musical critics, her manner of performance is clear, large scale and subtle.
The Moscow recital of the German organist is a presentation of Germany’s organ tradition.
The concert is dedicated to the memory of Michael Scneider, an outstanding German organist r (1909-1994), on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of his death.
