Address: 27/13 Malaya Gruzinskaya Street

Концерт состоялся 16 September 2020 года

Cathedral's Eve

The concert features:

Evgenia Krivitskaya (organ)
Maria Lazareva (violin)

Programme: J. S. Bach, A. Vivaldi, T. Vitali, E. Ysaye and more

A violin is playing in the Cathedral, supported by the Cathedral pipe organ. The violin symbolizes the human soul or plays the role of the protagonist of a big and complicated novel written in organ accords instead of words. To implement such a project the works of the Baroque Period are best suited, since they combine a deep meaning and a light narrative, like a good book does.
