The concert featured:

Titular organist of the church of Berkel and Rodenrijs
Arjan Breukhoven (organ, Netherlands)

Programme: J. S. Bach, L. van Beethoven, R. Wagner, M. De Falla, G. Fauré, A. Khachaturian, D. Kabalevsky and more

The famous Netherlandian organist Arjan Breukhoven will play our big Cathedral organ as if it were a whole orchestra. In order to match this idea, the program is rather peculiar. It includes L. Beethoven’s legendary Symphony No. 5,  The Ride of the Valkyries by R. Wagner, A. Khachaturian’s Sabre Dance and theatre music by B. Smetana and D. Kabalevsky. The culmination of the recital is the artist’s virtuoso improvisation.

It is not allowed to make recordings of this concert and please switch off your mobile phones during the concert.

After the concert it is possible to get an autograph of the Dutch organist.
