Dear friends, by purchasing tickets, you agree to сomply with our rules for concertgoers.

Numerous composers have turned to Stabat Mater, a marvellous poetic prayer about Our Lady standing by the cross and seeing the sufferings of her Son. The medieval author of the poem is anonymous. The prayer has proved so powerful and sublime, that the Catholic Church introduced it in its liturgy. As for composers, they continue to set the prayer to music.

The concert features two famous musical versions of Stabat Mater, by A. Vivaldi and G. B. Pergolesi.
