Ave Maria… These very words contain music. That is the reason why melodies composed for this prayer are always so beautiful. Tonight’s concert features compositions written under the influence of the image of Our Lady. We are going to listen to Johann Sebastian Bach, to German and French romantic composers and to Oleg Yanchenko, an outstanding Russian organ composer. The timbre spectrum is most tender: two female voices, a high one and a low one, accompanied by the organ.
